Delete branch "chore/drop-prime-fse-art-from-archive"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Answers #207 and clears the last pending section of the salvage review (#208 / #209).
What Keff said
Where they actually came from
They are MotoPress's Prime FSE theme assets — © 2023 MotoPress, GPLv2-or-later.
udg/products/wp-themes/toilville-fse/style.cssdescribes the theme as "forked from Prime FSE", and the theme's ownreadme.txtclaims the art: "All the other icons and images used in the patterns and stored assets/images are created by us."All 18 are still present in that live theme, as the same artwork with identical path data. The archive copies differ only in tag serialisation (
<circle … />became<circle …></circle>) — the signature of a round-trip through a DOM parser when the superset was imported into the claude.ai Design project in June 2026.icons/{cog,comment,edit,image,piechart,zoom}.svg…/toilville-fse/assets/images/icons/<same>.svgicons/{check,check-dark,cross}.svg…/toilville-fse/assets/images/<same>.svgicons/{mail,phone,pin}.svg…/toilville-fse/assets/images/icons/<same>-no-bg.svgillustrations/{cta-image,hands,quote}.svg…/toilville-fse/assets/images/<same>.svgillustrations/feature-{1,2,3}.svg…/toilville-fse/assets/images/features/<same>.svgSo they are neither generated art nor Keff's work — they are third-party GPL assets, and nothing is lost by deleting them.
This corrects the merged salvage review
Section 4 of
archive/SALVAGE-design-system-superset-20260628.mdrecorded:That was measured against the live icon library (
Brand/source/icons/) alone and missed the forked theme's asset tree, where all 18 sit under their own names. The call it pointed to — candidates filling a UI-glyph gap — was wrong in both directions: the art is third-party, and it is already here. Section 4 is rewritten with the resolution and an explicit correction.Changes
archive/design-system-superset-20260628/assets/{icons,illustrations}/— 18 files.archive/SALVAGE-…md: section 4 rewritten (resolved + correction); summary table row updated from pending / Keff #207 to out of scope, deleted.archive/README.md: records the removal (91 of 109 files remain) and allows outright deletion — never in-place edits — when a file turns out not to be ours, since the tag is the byte-exact record.Safety
archive/design-system-superset-20260628still holds all 18 files (git ls-tree -ron the tag → 18). The deletion is reversible and the folder's byte-exact claim survives where it actually lives.archive/referenced these paths.generator/tests/unit/test_archive_inert.py: 5 passed, including its planted-reference control.generator/tests/unit: 3 failed, 175 passed, 18 skipped. Identical to a cleanorigin/mainbaseline run in a separate checkout — the 3 failures are pre-existingtest_doctor.pysandbox failures, unrelated toarchive/. No new failures.Left alone
assets/fonts/sora/stays — also Prime FSE's (SIL OFL, credited in the samereadme.txt), but a font binary rather than brand artwork, and nothing claimed it.readme.txt.DESIGN-SYSTEM.md,SKILL.md,_ds_bundle.jsand theui_kits/*.jsxprototypes still name the deleted paths. Left as-is deliberately: those are themselves frozen copies, and the tag is where their references resolve. Noted inarchive/README.md.The gap in the live icon library is real (
Brand/source/icons/still has no UI glyphs), but it is not this art's to fill. Keff's offer stands — that would be a new request, not a salvage.Closes #207
