portal_synthesize.py reuses existing artifacts/ from synthesize.py pass 2,
runs 5 sonnet calls (one per portal section), injects into HTML template.
synthesis-cache/portal-cache.json seeds dedup for subsequent runs.
Synthesized chapters now flow back into the lore corpus so ritual/winnow
can surface them for queries like 'what is spelwork'.
