Problem

Several valid Nord patches reach the Faust compiler but terminate it with SIGBUS on dense generated graphs.

Scope

Identify graph patterns causing the crash and implement a safe lowering strategy that preserves patch routing while documenting approximation boundaries.

Acceptance

  • validate-disting classifies failures without a compiler crash for the current dense fixtures.
  • At least one previously SIGBUS patch produces an ARM .o.
  • Add regression coverage and update release evidence.
