Split out of #172, #173 and #174 so those can close. The decisions they tracked are made and merged; these three questions are what spelwork-dashboard-design-part1.md still leaves open, and they would otherwise have no home.

1. How SPELWork gets dark stage values

SPELWork has no dark theme, so the dark column of §4 is defined in the baseline only (§4, "Where the tokens live"). Decide whether that stays the arrangement or whether the product palette carries its own.

2. Does text on a stage fill need on-colour tokens?

§4 leaves this open. color.stage.0 through .5 span L 0.258 to 0.900 in light and the reverse in dark, so a single text colour cannot sit on all six. Either no text is ever placed directly on a stage fill — in which case say so — or the ramp needs on-colour tokens the way text.on-accent-dark does.

3. Do Rituals and blocks get accent.critical and neutral.warm-stale?

§3, "Rituals and blocks". #174 added both to the baseline and SPELWork. Whether the other two product palettes get them in their own color.json was never decided.

Also: a stale status line

Part 1 §6 still reads "Status: not started." Part 2 (spelwork-dashboard-design-part2.md) carries all three sketches with their figures, so that line is wrong and reads as unstarted work to anyone opening Part 1 first. One-line fix next time the file is touched: point §6 at Part 2.
