Scope

Switches the mlx-sys/src/mlx-c submodule URL from ssh://git@git.toilville.dev:2222/... to https://git.toilville.dev/Toilville/mlx-c.git.

mlx-c, this repo and forge-kv-cache went public on 2026-10-10. That lets a public clone of toilville_rituals (Toilville/toilville_rituals#428) build Tier 1 without a registered SSH key. Cargo reads .gitmodules at the pinned rev, so downstream pins move to this commit.

Please merge with a merge commit, not a squash. forge-kv-cache and toilville_rituals pin 8d30414 directly, and a squash would orphan it.

Testing

From this branch, a credential-free fetch of the submodule works: git -c credential.helper= submodule update --init mlx-sys/src/mlx-c checks out 2c3d210.

Impact Statement

Existing features: none.
Public APIs / contracts: none.
Schemas: none.
Data / artifacts: none.
Integrations: fetching the submodule no longer needs SSH. Existing SSH-based clones keep working.
Mappings: none.
Backward compatibility: the old pin 215add5 is unchanged and still resolves.

2026-10-10 so a public clone of toilville_rituals can build Tier 1.
The ssh:// URL required a registered key even for a public repo;
https needs none, and needs no port either.
